No definitely not! A (normal) brass inner valve should never be used with an aluminum TPMS sensor. This can lead to galvanic corrosion. Due to this corrosion, the two metals melt together and cause damage. This damage will also disrupt the data sent from the sensor to the ECU. As a result, the TPMS light on the dashboard may not illuminate in the event of a problem such as low tire pressure.
